Position Summary:
The Front Office Receptionist represents the first point of contact for the clients of the Lake District Wellness and Recovery Centers. They perform essential front desk administrative duties including answering phone calls, greeting clients, scheduling clients and various administrative needs of the providers.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Must be able to obtain a valid Driver's License and CPR Certification.
Experience:
Prior clerical experience in a medical setting preferred. Experience with Microsoft Suite computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook), preferred.
Job Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong computer skills and experience in navigating web-based portals/databases. Requires strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and HIPAA. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw in interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
