Behavior Technician for Schools (BTS)

Job Summary:
The Behavior Technician for School (BTS) will implement evidence-based behavioral treatment plans, utilizing best practices in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner to provide services based on applied behavior analysis. These client – focused therapies occur primarily in the client’s schools, but may also occur in the community (e.g., if supporting the client on a field trip) or home (e.g., when mandated by the school district). You will be fully trained and supported by our experienced training team.
Responsibilities:
Provides quality behavioral intervention to clients, under the direct supervision of CSS or PCS.
Collects accurate skill acquisition and behavior reduction data on all areas targeted for intervention, as specified by supervisor.
Reports directly to supervisor regarding client performance, parent concerns, and team needs.
Adequately prepares for each session in advance, arrives on time when traveling to home and other community settings, as required, to ensure high quality services.
Meets established minimum productivity guidelines per the BTS position in an efficient and effective manner, including providing shift coverage for direct one-to-one intervention.
Provides professional, efficient, and effective services in all areas of performance.
Follows all Company policies and procedures, as outlined in Team Member Handbook and other written documents.
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma (required) and at least 18 years of age.
Must have current, valid driver’s license in state of residence, and acceptable driving record.
Must adhere to and complete all requested ongoing CEUs, training, and certification renewals.
Must have all background clearances and proof of immunization records required by the school district.

- Ability to complete the physical demands of the job (e.g., lifting minimum of 30 lbs, frequent standing/sitting, kneeling, and running with children).
