Behavior Technician, Community-Based Aba Program

**FULL-TIME SALARIED POSITION**

The Estuary Center is a non-profit therapy program dedicated to life skills and community integration of adolescents with autism. Beginning this fall, we will open full-day services with a supportive 1:1 student-to-therapist ratio. The Estuary Center’s therapeutic approach will be centered in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a modernized perspective and application. Our emphasis will be on community-based and natural environment learning. The dignity, uniqueness, safety, and autonomy of our clients is paramount, and the skills we will teach are all focused on helping clients live a life of their choosing. We are passionate about creating a positive and supportive work culture! As an integral member of our small founding clinical team, our salaried Behavior Interventionists will work closely with our Clinical Director/BCBA and each other to provide high-quality therapeutic services as determined by each client's individualized treatment plan. Services will take place year-round with breaks (closed 20+ days/year) across a variety of settings in and within walking distance to Garden Home Recreation Center, including a learning kitchen, library, garden, fitness/activity rooms, gymnasium, grocery store, restaurants and more (one location, no driving!)

We seek experienced and passionate team members to start this journey and grow with us. Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Passion for our community-based mission and working with level 3 ASD clients
• Dependable with excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and walk, run, bend, kneel, crouch, sit on furniture or floor, or stand for extended periods.
• Outstanding references and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred
• Registered with the state of Oregon as a Behavior Analysis Interventionist and/or RBT certification preferred
• Experience with online data collection and session notes preferred
• 1+ year experience working with adolescents with autism preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
