Behavior Support Specialist
How you can help as a Behavior Support Specialist: Support individuals diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability in behavioral skills development, basic living skills, socialization skills and integrating them into the community. Teach, learn and interact with our persons served to help them reach their potential by utilizing positive Behavior Supports. Perform or assist individuals served with personal hygiene and basic domestic duties

$500 Part Time Hiring Bonus
$1000 Full Time Hiring Bonus
First shift: $16.50 per hour (MUST HAVE DSP/ Mental Health Experience)
Second Shift Weekday: $17.25 per hour/ Weekend: $18.25 per hour
Third Shift Weekday: $18.50 per hour/ Weekend: $19.50 per hour

Requirements for the Behavior Support Specialist:
- Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate
- Be at least 17 years old
- Valid Driver's License (we may be able to accommodate, but not guaranteed)
- Pass drug and alcohol screenings
- Pass criminal background checks
- Must be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.
- ASL (American Sign Language) preferred
