Beer, Wine, Cheese Department Manager

We are looking for a reliable team player to manage our beer, wine & Cheese Department.

Basic Responsibilities include:
- Speaking with and developing relationships with food & beverage distributors & representatives.
- Must be able to utilize basic math to determine how much product to order based upon demand and season, referring to previous orders and adjusting inventory when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
- Slicing & wrapping cheese for 3 store locations
- Adjusting prices when needed to maintain/increase profits

- Assisting wine distributor with ordering/putting away/stocking wine

- Ordering beer kegs & CO2 canisters for beer shed for events

Full-time responsibilities include (If you choose full time):

- Everything listed above as well as preparing hot dogs, popcorn, soup & coffee in morning and providing help to other departments in down time

```Qualifications```
- Familiarity with clover registers & CAS Label printers is preferred but not required. We will train you.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and be on your feet for most, if not, all of your shift.
- Must be reliable

- Have at least 1 year background in food service

- Basic computer skills

Pay will be negotiated in person based upon experience.

Although this position offers a flexible schedule, the cheese order is a priority and you must be reliable in placing the order and putting it away when it is delivered. As well as making sure the cheese order for the week is finished before the truck arrives to pick it up.
