Job Description
Cox Honey of Utah, LLC is a fourth-generation beekeeping business, first established in 1929. We own over 5,800 hives for commercial honey production in Utah and almond pollination in California.
Full time position. Students, or if you are planning to attend school, will not be hired. Beekeeping experience preferred, however, we will train the right person that is willing to work hard. Must have a good driving record. Able to do heavy lifting, 50-100lbs regularly. Experience as a farm hand, farm labor, or background from agriculture is good. Cannot be allergic to bees. Drug testing may be required. Job duties include feeding and managing bee health, honey production and harvesting/extracting.
Paid holidays, sick time, vacation time, and bonuses for full time employees. Repair and maintenance skills are a plus. Overtime can be required and is normal in the spring and fall months. Housing may be available.
Spring, summer and fall work is in the mountains and valleys of northern Utah. We will have some travel time to California, with some length of time living in California in fall and winter months. Lodging and food per diem are provided in California.
