Bed Coordinator Assistant - Nights
Bring your talents to New York’s top-ranked hospital (U.S. World Report) and drive the delivery of top-notch care for our patients. Build excellent administrative skills and join a growing team responsible for collaborating with various disciplines throughout our hospital to coordinate our patient's admission, transfer, and discharge.
In this dynamic role, you will serve as Coordinator Assistant for patients' admission, transfer, and discharge. By decreasing the time, it takes to transfer a patient to the next level of care, including the transition to home, units, or another facility, you will improve the experience of the patients and their families.
The role requires excellent communication and collaboration across all disciplines within and outside the institution. You will prioritize admissions, bed assignments, and transfers from within and outside institutions. Also, you will perform secretarial tasks in the Nursing Office, assisting with the intake of sick calls and updating the schedule in Kronos.
This is a full-time position with three 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital.
