Bed & Bread Driver

Transport and serve meals to those in need in the city of Detroit.

Drive truck on route making predetermined stops according to schedule
Load and unload trucks
Prepare and respectfully serve meals to all present at the stops
Pick up and/or delivery of donated items using box truck as assigned
Transport items needing the use of box truck
Complete daily maintenance check of truck and report problems to designated person
Maintain cleanliness of truck while on route and thoroughly clean truck after route is completed
Assist in picking up donated items
Log the number of person served
Safely operate vehicle and follow all ruling road

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Pass a MDOT physical
Ability to get along with people
Dependability
Good communication skills
Food Handler Permit
Valid Michigan Chauffeur License and approved by The Salvation Army MVR
T.B Test and police clearance required
