Beauticians are highly skilled service-oriented individuals who provide well-rounded cosmetic services to enhance customer appearance and boost their confidence. They may style hair, apply makeup, and provide hair removal and brow-enhancing treatments. They may also give guidance about proper hair and skin care.
Licensed Beautician/Barber that will provide services to residents in our Nursing Facility including Haircuts, Shaves, Shampoo & Sets, Perms, Colors, etc. You will need to be here 1-2 days a week, flexible hours.
DUTIES OF BEAUTICIAN:

• Style Residents' hair; Perms Cuts, Color, etc.
• Ability to work with all types of hair.
• Should be organized & self-directed.
• Independent contractor
• Will work one day weekly
• Must have own equipment and supplies

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Performs hairstyle consultation on patients in order to decide what services the patient wants or needs.
• A current and valid state cosmetology license and can pass a background check
• The beautician will be required to maintain basic safety standards and hygienic measures according to state guidelines

Styles hair consistent with residents' request and preference. Supplies chemicals to achieve permanents, relaxers, and color in a continuously competent manner. Promotes a friendly and positive atmosphere in the delivery of beauty parlor services
