Beautician

Position Summary: The Beautician will be responsible for providing a range of beauty services to clients, including hair washing and styling, nail care, and shaving.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to determine their individual beauty needs and preferences.
• Provide hair washing and styling services.
• Perform nail care services, including manicures and pedicures.
• Provide shaving and facial hair grooming
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, including sterilizing equipment and tools.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including addressing any concerns or complaints.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of beauty treatments and techniques, including hair styling, nail care, makeup application, and other beauty services.
• Ability to listen to clients' needs and preferences and provide customized beauty services.
• Knowledge of beauty products and their uses.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow safety guidelines.

Education, Training, Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a beauty school program or apprenticeship preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
