Beautician

Woodland Grove Health and Rehabilitation is actively seeking an experienced Beautician to work as an independent contractor at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Daytona Beach, FL The beautician would be responsible for providing beautician and barber services to the residents. The beautician is guided by technical knowledge of beautician services and the policies regarding delivery of services to residents of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring hair, etc.
• Assist residents and responsible party with scheduling appointments and provide personalized services based on resident's needs.
• Notify appropriate department when appointments are scheduled.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from resident area for appointments.
• Provide manicures and nail art following resident's preferences.
• Maintain records and submit in timely manner for charges and payments.
• Ensure working area is clean, safe, and equipment, tools, and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow established policies and procedures concerning infection control and safety precautions when providing services.
• Foster a relaxing and positive salon atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Cosmetology license for FL.
• Successfully pass a Level II Background Screening.
• Hands-on experience and working knowledge of beauty products.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.
• Must provide exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication.
