BCF Spinning Operator

IK Hofmann is seeking BCF Operators for a client in Cartersville. The BCF Operator is responsible for all product set-ups and maintains appropriate log documentation. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is available to work 12-hour swing shifts, with great opportunities and growth.

*** 12-hour swing shifts in Cartersville Nights 7pm-7:15 am starting at $17/hr***

Job Requirements:

1. Make sure to follow all Safety Rules for the Department and Entire Facility.
2. Must be familiar with all Set-up's that run on (Reiter, Neumag, and/or Swiss Tex equipment).
3. Must be familiar with Color/Product changes on all machines.
4. Responsible for general housekeeping; including cleaning texturizers and godet rolls when needed.
5. Perform online quality inspection of yarn (i.e., texture, air tack, winding, detex, etc.).
6. Keeping appropriate log documentation for godet cleaning, texturizer, pack changes, tack boxes, etc.
7. Inspecting Machine’s and Work Areas are cleaned and wiped down at all times. (shop area cleaned, Floors swept/mopped, Trash emptied, organized Etc.)
8. Ensure Change Overs are being performed in a timely manner by information gathered from schedule/tech sheet.
9. Assisting supervisor and crew leaders with pack and pre-filter changes as needed.
10. Responsible for Daily tension, Monomer, Quench, Vacuum, Texturizer, Cooling Drum, and etc. checks on equipment, Reiter, Neumag, Swiss Tex.
11. Responsible for trouble shooting and performing mechanical repairs to all machinery.
12. Be aware of Aquafil's Recycling Guidelines and Environmental Management Systems Policy (see supervisor if further explanation is needed).
13. Assist supervisors/Crew Leaders during spin pack/pre-filter changes when needed.
14. Assist all other operators when needed when problems persist with their machine.
15. Report any discrepancies to the Supervisor/Department Manager.

Job Qualifications:

1. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
2. Must be able to stand in a standing position for up to 12-hour shifts.
3. Must be able to work 12-hour swing shift (NIGHTS)
4. Must be able to remain in the facility until the end of the shift.
5. Must be able to wear steel toed shoes, and any required PPE.
6. Must be able to read/detect any color, quality, damage.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with operators, crew leaders and supervisors and/or managers.
8. Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions which are posted in English.
