Four Corners Eye Clinic in Durango, Colorado is seeking a fellowship trained Glaucoma Specialist. We are the region’s preeminent and most well established multi-specialty Ophthalmology practice. Our physician-owned group consists of two comprehensive ophthalmologists, one retina specialist, one cornea specialist and one Glaucoma Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to build your glaucoma practice in one of the most desirable locations in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Our current Glaucoma Specialist is experiencing patient demand beyond our current capacity. In addition to your glaucoma practice, you will have the opportunity to enjoy cataract surgery and build a refractive cataract practice if desired. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and surgical skills and will enjoy our collegial environment. You will have access to state of the art equipment in the clinic and OR, including LensX laser, Centurion phaco machines, ORA (Optiwave Refractive Analysis), Pentacam, iTrace, SLT and Micropulse lasers, and many MIGS platforms. You will enjoy operating at Animas Surgical Hospital, a physician owned hospital adjacent to our clinic that boasts a 5 star rating for patient satisfaction. Ownership in the hospital is available. We offer a 4 day work week so you can have time to enjoy the outdoor paradise of southwest Colorado. World class mountain biking, fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, and kayaking are plentiful when the San Juan National Forest is your back yard. In addition, Durango has an excellent school system, and the presence of a 4 year liberal arts college brings cultural activities not usually seen in a small mountain town.
