Description
Position Summary
Our BCaBA's specialize in children and adults with behavior disorders caused by a variety of developmental disabilities including autism. We work with families in diverse settings - homes, school districts, residential homes, mental health facilities - and in partnership with many service providers and members of our client's advocate team.

Our Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) will have expertise in:
Clinical Management

  • Participate in regular meetings with the Clinical Director and/or BCBA to collaborate on client programming, behavior plans and supervision requirements
  • Will be responsible for development of behavior and treatment plans/programs.
  • Ensure that programming materials are updated and assist in the collection/development of any missing materials as needed to effectively address treatment objectives.
  • Will provide training on the implementation of behavior and treatment plans to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Will track data as required by KCBH and the state of Missouri.
  • Demonstrates understanding of each individual's cumulative learning, goals and objectives and demonstrates proficiency in recognizing mastery of goals and objectives.
  • Will analyze progress toward goals, functional relations, treatment integrity and other targets as assigned or relevant for specific cases.
  • Will complete regular progress reports for funding sources and relevant stakeholders. Will work under the direction of and participate in regular supervision meetings with BCBA assigned or Clinical Director.

  • Serve as a role model to establish and foster a positive culture based on trust, respect, collaboration and integrity. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company's dealings with the marketplace.
  • Support, model and encourage a Culture of Compliance by adhering to, and fostering team members' adherence to, the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct and Compliance Program.
  • Manage and develop a team of employees in accordance with KCBHH's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and recommending candidates; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; recommending rewards and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and building an effective team dynamic.
  • Actively participate in the national healthcare community; stay abreast of trends, competitors and legislation.
  • Serve as a credible and collaborative leader with both internal and external constituencies by understanding the healthcare landscape and responding quickly to needs.

Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology or related field
  • BCaBA certification and MO and KS State License
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism

  • Ability to regularly travel by air and automobile, including ability to drive when in the field.
