As a Basketball Referee for the Quincy Kroc Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring fair play, sportsmanship, and an overall positive experience for our league participants. Your responsibilities will include:
- Officiating basketball games in accordance with established rules and regulations.
- Managing game flow, enforcing rules, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
- Communicating effectively with players, coaches, and spectators to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere.
- Resolving disputes or conflicts on the court in a fair and impartial manner.

- Collaborating with league organizers and fellow referees to ensure smooth operations.
- This job description is not all inclusive. It is intended to identify the essential duties of the position. Other duties, responsibilities and tasks may be assigned at the discretion of the Recreational Sports Specialist.
What are We Looking For?
- Passion for basketball and a solid understanding of the game's rules.
- Previous experience as a Basketball Referee is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make quick and fair decisions under pressure.
- Availability on evenings and weekends during the league season.
