Are you a professional in the service industry with a love for dogs? We have the perfect opportunity for you! GoDog is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Bar Attendant. In this unique role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our dog-park bar patrons.
Responsibilities:
Bar Service:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide detailed information about our beverage offerings, including flavor profiles and recommendations.
• Take drink orders accurately and efficiently at the bar and in the yard.
• Prepare and serve beverages, ensuring proper pouring and presentation.
• Monitor customer alcohol consumption and identify signs of intoxication, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Handle credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Proactively engage with patrons to promote memberships, daily specials, featured drinks, and merchandise, driving upselling opportunities and contributing to overall sales growth.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Local ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) permits or licenses are required for this position
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively promote and upsell products and packages, enhancing the customer experience through suggestive selling, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with fellow attendants, managers, and kennel staff.
• Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels with patience and confidence.Some prior experience in dog handling is preferred, but not required
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our facility operates during extended hours.
• Must meet the legal age requirement for alcohol service in the specific location.
