Barrel Chest Wine And Beer is Southwest Virginia largest beer and wine retailer. We are the only retail store in the state with a self-pour beer and wine bar, nano brewery, and specialty cheese shop. As of August 2021 we have expanded and moved in to a beautiful, much larger, easier to find building closer to downtown Roanoke. We are busier than ever in our new location and need some additional help.
We're searching for someone who has a passion for a career in the beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Make beer and wine recommendations
- Run the register
- Start bar tabs and teach new guests how to work the self-pour machines
- Stock shelves and merchandise
- Inventory
- Take special orders
- Clean glassware
- Break down bar at end of the day and clean
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
