Barista/Food Prep

```Job Summary```
We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker/Barista to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with food preparation/sandwich making and barista work. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The Available fixed hour is at M 11A-2P (3), W 8A-11A (3), Sat 10A-2P (4)

Or M 8A-4P (8), T-F 11A-2P (12)

```Duties```
- Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Restocking as needed
- Make Coffee/tea/Smoothies
- Be able to help customers as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service

```Experience```
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Clover/Square, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist customers and answer questions about menu items
- Basic math skills for cash handling transactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
