SalaryWe are seeking a Barista/Food-service worker for part-time work at our cozy cafe in downtown New Rochelle. You will work along side one of our other baristas who will instruct you on everything we do, from proper coffee making techniques, to how we prep and serve all of our small bites.
Responsibilities include:
- working the register
- serving customers
- making beverages
- preparing basic food items
- cleaning dishes, tables, etc.
- restocking inventory
- other daily tasks that you will learn
The position starts at $12 per hour if you have no experience, after tips you will be making over $15 per hour guaranteed. We are looking for someone who is open to working mornings, afternoons and weekends at least 4 days a week. The ability of opening cafe 1 or 2 times a week would be preferable once you are trained and capable. Shifts are generally 5 hours per day.
