The Crumbum is a small business in Kingsport, TN. We are fast-paced, social, creative and our goal is to Kingsport’s The Crumbum, an artisan bakery combined with fine art gallery and coffeehouse, establishes an eclectic space to enrich your every day. It is the perfect setting for you to read a book, savor your food, or continue deep conversation surrounded by inspiring local art. Our intent is for you to enjoy excellence, and we want you to know: good taste tastes good.
Our front of house team members welcome and care for guests in our shop. Front end members will have a working knowledge of all The Crumbum products (both food and art), operating the point-of-sale register, keeping a clean and organized workspace, while showing off their artistic coffee skills by handcrafting delicious and creative coffee beverages. We expect our front of house team members to:
- Be engaging, warm, and welcoming communication skills and presence
- Have a passion for and deep knowledge of our coffee menu, our bakery, art and genuine hospitality
- Have a desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
- Spend most of the day on their feet
- Ideally, would have at lease 1 year of experience as a barista using manual espresso equipment
