Barista/ Cafe Attendant - Full or Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with our customers and responding to their needs.
• Prepare menu items to customer specifications quickly, accurately and without waste.
• Prepare and serve drinks and food in accordance with health code and cafe standards.
• Coordinate food and drink orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace at all times, including but not limited to cleaning tables, maintaining the condiment bar and removing trash.
• Operate the cash register and accurately ring up cash and charge transactions.

Qualifications:

• Previous Barista experience required.
• Must have valid Texas Food Handler's Permit
• Previous experience in using a computer and cash register required.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable with multitasking and learning new systems and processes.
• Must have availability on nights and weekends.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-hire screening, including background check, drug screening and have a clean motor vehicle report.
