Position: Banquet Setup Specialist

As a vital part of our events team, the Banquet Setup Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of every event at Sylvania Country Club. Your main responsibilities will include the setup and teardown of banquet events, ensuring each space is perfectly arranged according to specific event requirements. Job Details:

• Full-time and Part-time positions available.
• Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week.

The Banquet Setup Specialist position at Sylvania Country Club is both rewarding and physically engaging. An essential part of this role involves the handling and arrangement of furniture and event materials, including the lifting, moving, and positioning of tables, chairs, and event decor to meet the specific layout requirements of each event.

We are committed to fostering a safe and supportive work environment. To this end, candidates should be prepared and capable of:

• Regularly lifting and/or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching to execute event setups and teardowns efficiently.
• Working in a dynamic environment that requires adaptability and teamwork to meet the high standards of our events and member experiences.
