SalaryHoliday Inn Downtown Superdome is looking for full time Restaurant Servers to join our team! Holiday Inn is a full service 292-room hotel that has been locally owned and operated in downtown New Orleans since 1968. All full-time positions offer medical and dental insurance, as well as discounted employee parking, free employee meals, a 401k plan, and life insurance.
Job Summary : Prepares tables and serves meals to hotel guests according to well established rules of etiquette and performs various incidental duties to furnish excellent service. Sets up banquet functions and services all guest functions in friendly and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Sets banquet tables to meet function specifications
- Delivers and serves food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments
- Ensures menu knowledge
- Removes china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area
- Ensures guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Responds to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
- Assists fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
