Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for Banquet Bartenders!
Here at Sunseeker Resorts, you will have the chance to experience more than 60,000 square feet of modern and new state of the art installations. As a Banquet Bartender, you will prepare delicious mix beverages for guests and/or beverage servers with the freshest local products!
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by preparing the highest quality beverages, and providing timely, accurate, and friendly service for each guest. Banquet Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. They also handle food orders directly from customers or the wait staff and inform customers of any specials. They ensure food and beverage compliance, restock bar inventory, and manage the overall bar operations.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.
Job Duties
- Display knowledge of drink recipes, drink and wine merchandising specials.
- Prepare beverages according to Company recipes and standards including signature cocktails.
- Properly check I.D.s
- Engage guests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
- Process and collect payments from guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform all bars set up and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Working knowledge of drink service and bar terminology.
- Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and regulations including those relating to food safety and liquor laws.
- Perform other job duties as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. - High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of one-year bartending experience

- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
- Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
- Professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip
- resistant shoes
- Enthusiastically supports decisions once they have been made by management
- Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail are a must
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members
- Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with
- customers and peers
- Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills
- Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
