ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Approach guest encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Take an active role in understanding and anticipating guest needs to provide authentic and personalized service.
- Ensure a timely response to guest requests and address concerns beyond satisfaction.
- Set up bar for service and prepare and serve drinks following established recipes, procedures, and proper food handling and serving techniques. Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures.
- Record consumption and processes payments in compliance with established cash and credit card policy.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding area. Return equipment and supplies to proper areas at end of shift.
- Ensure all liquor is properly secured before, during and after shift.
- Complete assigned side-work and related cleaning duties before, during and after shift.
- Attend department pre-function meeting for familiarity with event details.
- Report to work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
- Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates.
- Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.
- Any other tasks / duties as requested by management.
