Banking Center Manager - Walnut Creek

Due to an internal promotion, CSB is seeking an individual to serve as the Banking Center Manager at our Walnut CreekBanking Center. This is a full-time, on-site position. In addition to a competitive base wage, CSB offers a wide variety of employee benefits listed below.

Summary: This individual provides exceptional service to our customers and prospects, opens new accounts, processes loan activity, grows customer portfolios and strengthens community relations with the Banking Center.

Responsible for management of staff including:

• Provides mentoring, encouragement, and support to help develop each staff member to their full potential.
• Conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings and one-on-one meetings.
• Oversee Banking Center personnel which includes scheduling and approving days off.
• Conducts performance evaluations.
• Distributes disciplinary action as needed.

Responsible for operations of the Banking Center including:

• Encourages and complies with CSB’s policies and procedures and ensure Banking Center is operationally sound.
• Operates Banking Center within CSB established guidelines for customer service standards and retail ready standards.
• Monitors account overdrafts for the Banking Center. Approves or returns NSF items according to policy.
• Assists Banking Center personnel in resolving difficult transactions and/or sensitive customer relation problems.
• Conducts monthly audits of CSR drawers, ATM, and the Banking Center vault and reports findings to the Security Officer.
• Complete customer transactions and establishing new deposit accounts as outlined in the Retail Services Handbook.

Responsible for sales revenue and growth including:

• Establishes and executes calling program designed to meet or exceed agreed upon growth goals.
• Contacts customers, businesses, community, and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.
• Works with existing customers to expand relationships and grow business.
• Encourages and coaches staff to participate in meeting Service and Scorecard goals.
• Provide customer referrals to bank personnel as appropriate. Work closely and collaboratively with CSB business partners including Consumer and Commercial Lenders, Cash Management, and Wealth Management.
• Project a positive image of CSB within the community through involvement in local organizations.

Responsible for all consumer, non-mortgage lending activities.

• Examines, evaluates, and processes consumer loan applications; approves or rejects loans within specified limits, and/or conducts loan closing.
• Oversees the overall process and procedure surrounding indirect lending activities and maintains relationships with the indirect dealer(s).
• Maintains billing files and floor plan audits for commercial customers with floor plan loans.

Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. A four-year, business-related degree is preferred. A minimum of four years of experience in retail banking is required.
