Title: Bank Regional Specialty Channel Internal Wholesaler (MRD)

Job Summary:
- Work with external partner in region to achieve annuity sales, recruiting, and other related goals within assigned region for Midland National Life (MNL) Insurance Company. Identify and build relationships with targeted Financial Advisors and Broker Dealer Partners to successfully market and drive annuity sales. Position product and company benefits and strengths primarily through outbound phone calls.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with all External Wholesalers covering the same territories to identify and develop relationships within Bank Regional Specialty channel to successfully market and sell MRD products.
- In conjunction with Sales management and External Wholesalers, develop sales goals and marketing plans to grow sales, market share and increase visibility for MRD.
- Drive annuity product sales by promoting companies products, services, and benefits. Create and provide business plans/goals and train and support agents/producers
- Provide producer training and carry out sales campaigns to producers within region and other distribution partners to assist the company in meeting production goals.
- Demonstrate strong ability to articulate the Company's strategy by presenting a compelling story about companies trength, culture, values, products, and services to drive sales growth and deepen relationships with producers and partners
- Facilitate recruiting campaigns to prospective agents in order to assist company in achieving recruiting goals.
- Assist with developing and implementing training programs for new products, point of sale work, services and programs offered by the company.
- Provide assistance and information to producers on company products, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with management in the implementation of outbound phone campaigns and other programs to be carried out from the home office. In conjunction with sales management, create, implement, and follow-through on sales and marketing campaigns within assigned region. This includes ensuring that activity requirements and service standards are met at all times.
- Gather and maintain competitor information and assist management in developing product and sales tools to gain and maintain a competitive advantage; act as a steward for the agents/distribution partners to keep them involved with field climate, trends and other important strategic information.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
- Background in the fixed annuity (insurance) industry (preferably annuity sales and marketing experience)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong telephone experience
- Complete knowledge of the sales process
- Ability to develop rapport with and influence independent annuity producers
- Disciplined and self-motivated: ability to proactively address sales/marketing needs and identify solutions when needed
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively in a goal-centered environment
- Must be motivated to expand industry specific knowledge
- Must be able to handle a changing work and business climate
- Good interpersonal skills, including effective relational skills, strong initiative, and high level of energy
- Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships

Licenses and Certifications:
- SIE, Series 6 and 63 FINRA Licenses are preferred
