Commercial bakery experience a must for the position
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks on the production line, such as food preparation, food processing, and packaging
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product quality and safety
- Adhere to sanitation and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Comply with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to prevent food contamination
- Conduct basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and quantities accurately
- Operate machinery and equipment according to safety protocols and guidelines
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food production setting is preferred
- Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus
- Familiarity with mechanical operations and troubleshooting is beneficial
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
