Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the production and preparation of baked goods. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and production of various baked goods, such as cupcakes, cakes, cheesecake, and cinnamon rolls.
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
- Mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment, such as ovens and mixers
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and frost baked goods as required
- Package finished products for display or sale
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment

-Serving customers at the front counter, taking orders and payments, and providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

-Saturday and Sunday availability is a must.
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of baking techniques and recipes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
