SalaryWe seek a reliable Bakery Assistant to help us grow our wholesale baking operations. The ideal candidate is kind, organized, reliable, detail oriented, has excellent planning skills and takes pride in their work. This is an entry level bakery position with great exposure to the industry.
Duties include:
Packing wholesale orders
Scaling and mixing doughs
Scooping cookies
Other duties as consistent with a wholesale/retail bakery

What we are looking for:
Available Monday through Friday from 5:30 am - 1:30 pm
Reliability is key
Can-do, positive attitude
Ability to work with most ingredients typical to a
high-end bakery
Ability to read recipes in English
Ability to work in a range of temperatures
Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently in a range of motions
Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist level
Impeccable references
Excellent communication skills
The Woodstar Cafe is located two hours west of Boston in the
vibrant arts town of Northampton, MA. We are a family owned
business serving top notch artisan breads and pastries since
2003.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
