Baker/Barista

Sidewalk Coffee and Bagel Co. is hiring IMMEDIATELY for Bakers/Barista to join our team!

-MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS.-

We are looking for bakers with experience or ready to learn how to make bagels and pastries.

Your Responsibilities:

• Baking required recipes in an accurate and consistent method.
• Learning to make coffee beverages
• Ensuring baked goods have an appealing finished product.
• Confirming all products meet our food safety and quality standards.
• Assisting guests
• Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

What we are looking for:

• A can-do attitude; tackle new tasks with a smile and ability to keep learning
• Team player; you’re always willing to give and ask for help
• Willingness to learn; eager to build your skillset
• No prior experience needed
• Must be at least 18 years old

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to understand and follow directions from others.
• Ability to read recipes and memorize and replicate food production procedures.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
• Skill and coordination in using kitchen utensils and equipment
• Must be at least 18 years old
