The Background Coordinator is responsible for processing various types of employment, education, professional license, and reference verification products related to employment screening in a prompt, accurate, and timely manner to our clients. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing court data and key identifiers and inputting data into background screening reports. This position works within the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRA) regulations to provide results requested by TEAM Companies clients. Successful contribution includes but is not limited to working within Federal, State, Client, and TEAM Companies’ guidelines to provide accurate results. This individual possesses excellent time management skills, detail-orientation, focus, resourcefulness, analytical skills, and reliability.

Requirements
- Conduct educational, employment, and criminal analysis of applicants utilizing electronic public access of both courts and government agencies
- Work with vendors and court researchers to ensure accurate information is being reported within the designated timeframe
- Coordinates with on-site court researchers to further analyze court data
- Identifies and escalates data requiring further investigation and research
- Proactively identifies new jurisdictional databases for verification
- Acts in an investigative manner to consistently locate the applicable source of information
- Manage inbound and outbound transactions, providing phone and email-based support
- Anticipate customer needs and deliver solutions for proactive customer service
- Maintain working knowledge of various Federal and State regulations that impact Credit Reporting Agencies
- Provide professional verbal and written communication and service to customers, government agencies, and vendors
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: High School diploma with 2+ industry experience (preferred) or 2+ years' experience in similar role
- Computer Skills: High level of computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat/PDFs – ability to edit and create, scanning)
- Other: Broad understanding of strategic planning and production outcome.

- Demonstrate reliability supporting TEAM attendance standards as attendance and punctuality are key to the success for all
- This job operates primarily in a clerical office setting in Tulsa. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. You must be able to sit for long periods of time
