SUMMARY:
The Backflow Tester is responsible for providing backflow testing and repairs on commercial devices and file the completed certifications and reports with municipalities in and around the Austin area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve customers with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and professionalism
- Refuse to Compromise Company or individual integrity by performing unnecessary services
- Assist fellow employees when called upon to do so
- Perform every job with technical excellence
- Remain current on license, certifications, training and safety requirements
- Remain proficient on the tools and techniques of your craft and seek training and certifications to advance your career
- Embrace a safety-first mentality both on and off the job
- Complete required forms, reports and approval processes using the provided tablets, computers, phone systems and software
- Maintain, inspect and keep assigned vehicle secured and clean
- Present a professional image to the public
- Current TCEQ Backflow License required
- 2 plus years commercial backflow experience
- High school diploma or GED
- TSBPE license preferred
- Clean driving record required
- Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen
COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time hourly position.
