Backend Developer (US remote)
Our client is looking for a Backend Developer to join their growing and talented engineering team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you must possess strong backend, hands-on dev experience with Nuxt JS, Vue JS, Node JS, MVC, AWS, and CI/CD following TDD.
This can be worked in a hybrid model in Ft. Lauderdale, FL or completely remote from the rest of FL as well as GA, TX, NC, SC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, KS, MO, IL, LA, MS and AZ.

Responsibilities:

• Impactful role in software design and delivery of the case management and external-facing portal products
• Interact with engineers and business partners at all levels and with teams across functional areas
• Promoting a collaborative culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, and test features to support the growth of the company’s software products.
• Take ownership and responsibility of the team’s goals and be a good steward to our products
• Implementing features across the stack including database queries, backend APIs, and U/I
• Collaborate with product, design, business stakeholders, and other engineers

Skills and experience:

• 5+ years of backend development for a software company or start up
• Must have professional development with Node JS, Nest JS, AWS, CI/CD, and MVC
• Experience writing automated tests (Unit, Functional, etc.)
• Proficient in a backend MVC framework and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Working knowledge of a modern JS library (Vue.js, React, etc.)
• Developing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Be able to solve difficult problems with well architected and reusable software solutions
• Experience in optimizing those solutions for speed, stability and scalability
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions
• Working knowledge of SQL (Queries, Joins, etc.)
