Position: Back Office Medical Assistant

Location: Phoenix (85032)

Pay: $22-$25/hour (set pay scale depending upon years of experience)

Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM

Overview of Responsibilities (NOT limited to the following):

• Documents medical histories, vital signs and other patient related data in medical charts (i.e., pulse rate, blood pressure, weight and height).
• Performs electrocardiograms, holter, and event monitoring.
• Exhibits understanding of EMR scanning and clinical procedures.
• Aids physicians by performing some administrative duties and handling basic clinical tasks.
• Assists physician with patients' medical history and medication history.
• Arranges for laboratory testing.
• Documents new prescriptions and refills.
• Maintains a neat and professional work environment.
• Brings patients to the room in a friendly, timely manner, providing any necessary assistance.
• Stocks rooms and maintains cleanliness standards.
• Documents all patient information on medical chart.

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• High School Diploma Required
• COVID-19 Vaccine Required
• EMR Experience Required
