Back of House Team member – a Team member who prep, prepares and packages our food in a timely manner and maintains a clean kitchen workspace.

As a Chick-fil-A Team Member you play a crucial role in the effectiveness of our team and the success of CFA Lagniappe Village. When we select our next Chick-fil-A Team member, we are looking for a hard-working individual who will share our passion by giving our Guests remarkable service and hospitality.

Expectations of a BOH Team Member:

• Work your scheduled shifts and arrive on time every shif
• Arrive for your shift in full uniform: shirt, pants, belt, non-slip shoes, nametag, pen (men must be cleanly shaved, women with long hair should have it pulled back into a ponytail/bun)
• Know the CFA corporate purpose statement

• When things slow down, know what you should be doing next – if you’re not sure, ask the shift manager
• Giving up a scheduled shift should be rare
• If you committed to a certain availability in the interview, we expect you to hold to that
• You will be trained in the “Chick-fil-A” way, strive to hold to that standard
• We schedule based on Attitude, Attendance and Performance

Responsibilities of a BOH Team Member:

• On arrival for your shift, check the positions chart for your assigned position
• Stay focused on your assigned position and relevant duties, and strive to learn that position to the best of your ability
• Although you may have a favorite spot, be willing to learn and serve in any position
• Always be asking the question: “What is our food quality right now?” What can you do to impact and improve their experience?

• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
• Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
• Mobility required during shifts
• Must work well under pressure
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
• Willing to do a background check and drug screening
• Must work at least 2 Saturdays out the month.

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
