Back of House Job Description

$15.50 – $17.50 per hour – Full Time//Part-time

Mom’s Touch uses high-quality and exceptionally fresh ingredients that is above and beyond a typical fast food restaurant. At Mom’s Touch, we are looking for caring, warm and motivated individuals that are willing to work as a team to provide utmost service and quality of food for our patrons.

Mom’s Touch is currently looking for skilled Back of House (BOH) employees to help prepare delicious meals for our guests. BOH employees will prepare and deliver food in a tasteful and timely manner.

• Previous experience preferred
• Training provided
• Part-Time Availability (up to 25 hours per week)
• Full-Time Availability (up to 40+ hours per week)
• Must be available (opening hours/ lunch hours/ dinner hours/weekends)
• Food Handler Certification (required upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook and fry foods efficiently and according to instructions
• Package finalized food and ensure proper presentation
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored and dated properly
• Check quality of ingredients and minimize waste
• Monitor inventory
• Properly dispose of oil and food wastes
