Jeff Martin Auctioneers is seeking a skilled back-End Developer with a solid foundation in Python, web application frameworks (Django/Flask), server configurations (Nginx/Apache), and proficiency in both relational and non-relational databases. Knowledge of Rust and AWS is a valuable asset, highlighting the candidate’s adaptability and interest in emerging technologies.

As a back-End Developer, you will be responsible for:

Collaborating with front-End Developers to design and implement web applications

Creating and maintaining the server and database infrastructure

Writing clean, scalable code using programming languages

Ensuring the security and performance of the application’s server-side logic

Troubleshooting and debugging issues to optimize the application's functionality

Developing APIs for seamless front-end–back-end communication

Integrating third-party services and databases

Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages (e.g., Python, Rust, PHP)

Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Django or Flask, Apache or Nginx)

Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB)

Understanding of server-side architecture and RESTful APIs

Version control using tools like Git and Github

Troubleshooting and debugging skills

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., RUST, AWS and Azure)

Familiarity with security best practices

Strong communication skills in collaborating with relevant stakeholders
Excellent problem-Solving skills and attention to detail
