Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and suitable for any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and educational activities, promoting learning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including children's bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces
- Follow established routines and schedules for meals, naps, and bedtime
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns or issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience in nannying, childcare, or babysitting
- Knowledge of infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Ability to provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times
- Familiarity with age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children of different ages and their parents/guardians
- Reliable transportation to commute to the family's residence or daycare center
