What is Respite Care? Respite care provides short-term relief for primary caregivers, giving them time to rest, travel, or spend time with other family and friends.
Benfits for Respite Provider:
- $14.96/hour for shifts under 8 hours
- $219.76/day for shifts over 8 hours and overnights
- Flexible schedule based on your current availability! Ideally available around the hours of 6p.m.- 8p.m. on Mondays, as well as one weekend a month (overnight)
- Flexibility with pick up/drop offs
Responsbilities of Respite Provider:
- Looking for respite care to be provided in the provider’s (your) home.
- Ensure safety and provide companionship.
- Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys: reading, playing with animals, electronics, music, and so much more!
Qualifications of Respite Provider:
- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass background check
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
