Job Title: Azure Wintel Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Job Type: 6-12+ Months
Job Description:
• Implement and manage various Windows Operating System version 2012,2016,2019 and 2022.
• Should have hands-on practical experience in Azure Cloud, Configuring & Managing Virtual Networks, Configuring & Deploying Azure Virtual Machines (Web Server and SQL Servers), Implementing & Managing Azure Storage (Database), Design for High Availability
• Hands-on Experience in Performing Server Migration to Azure, Performing Server Migration, Design for Migration Cloud Networking, Cloud Security, Cloud Services, Cloud Storage, Virtualization, Design Azure Load balancer and Application Gateways
• Strong Knowledge vSphere ESXi and experience in upgrade of vSphere from old version to new version.
• Administers Domain Controllers, File servers, Group Policy, DNS Server, DHCP servers, Microsoft Hyper-V servers, VMWare servers, Host, VMs, Data Store, Snapshots
• Strong Knowledge on ITIL processes.
• Drive the Priority incidents towards closure and Furnish RCA report for the applicable incidents.
• Troubleshoot the complex issues escalated by lower level teams and guide them on the operational issues whenever required.
• Spearhead of any new project that assigned to the tower and accomplish with in the committed milestone.
• Resource Management: Manage team of 5 resources on Windows, Azure and VMware.
• Research and define job descriptions to fill department resource needs. Screen and recommend interview candidates. Integrate new hires into teams and processes.
• Analyze the infrastructure and provide recommendations to optimize.
• Due diligence of the quarterly incident trends and provide recommendations to reduce the incident count.
• Co-ordination with Customer and Vendor for any new solution roll out.
• Contributes, as a subject matter expert (SME) to the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards that conform with organizational objectives and ITIL best practices.
• Provides data for management reports, in prescribed-standard formats
• Good communication skills & email etiquette.
