AZ@Work - Day Porter/Commercial Cleaning

Schedule: We have Day and Night shifts available

Day Shifts start time can vary - Night Shifts usually start at 6pm

Duties | Responsibilities 

Tasks based on assignment; responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Common areas – Building Entrance, Lobby, Common hallways, Elevator cabs, etc. 

• Spot clean glass (remove fingerprints, smudges, etc.) 

• Remove any trash/debris  

• Spot vacuum to remove debris; spot mop to remove spills (as needed) 

• Check interior cab paneling; remove fingerprints/smudges 

• Exterior (if applicable) 

• Empty trash receptacles, police building exterior/landscaping for cigarette butts/debris 

• Restrooms 

• Spot clean surfaces (as needed) - toilets, urinals, counters, sinks, stall partitions, dispenser exteriors, mirrors, etc. 

• Check/restock all paper products  

• Spot mop flooring to remove water/spills (utilize “Wet Floor” sign) 

• Empty trash receptacles 

*Rotation/frequency of tasks may vary  

Miscellaneous 

• Inform Supervisor of any plumbing, mechanical or electrical malfunctions 

• Report any visible property damage that occurred prior to or during shift 

• Other duties as requested by Property Manager and/or Building Engineer 

Skill Set / Qualifications 

• Previous janitorial/house-keeping experience preferred but not required 

• Dedication to providing premier janitorial services in a professional and consistent manner at all times 

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with established duties; accomplish specific tasks all while maintaining attention to detail 

• Team player attitude and positive approach  

Minimum Requirements 

• Ability to lift 10 lbs or more 

• Valid Driver’s License 

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
