We are looking for responsible, charismatic, and eager part-time workers who are interested in coaching and entertaining small groups in the ways of Axe Throwing. No Axe Throwing experience required. Axe KPR will train you in Axe Throwing and help you develop your coaching skills as much as needed to succeed.
We're looking for a team of Axe Keepers that know how to balance safety and fun!
Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service - greet, coach, and entertain guests
- Ensure proper safety rules are met & properly train all customers
- Collect fees, schedule axe lanes, and properly and efficiently enter charges and payments using the POS software
- Take photos of customers from company phones and upload them to the Google Drive folder
- Assist with planning, coordinating and marketing Special Events like themed Axe Throwing nights, league events and tournaments, corporate team building, and community fundraisers
- Complete assigned cleaning and general maintenance duties; including changing target boards
- Maintain inventory of food & beverages, merchandise, and facility equipment
- Maintain proper phone etiquette and respond to emails professionally
- Study and fully understand all safety standards and pass the safety certification test
- Assist in completing all opening and closing procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements for this position include:
- The right candidate will be a self-starter, outgoing, friendly and enjoys helping others
- Strong communication skills: including the ability to speak clearly and concisely in a group setting. Must be able to use humor to lighten the mood while also getting the point across.
- Great people skills: able to work with a variety of personalities with a positive approach and handle difficult customer situations with confidence and tact.
- Detail oriented: there’s a lot going on here and when it’s busy you have to be tracking multiple things at once to ensure the experience for the customer is seamless
- Enjoys hospitality and working in a team environment
- Ability to coach a guest through positive reinforcement and subtle adjustments
- Trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. Able to maintain certification throughout the course of employment.
- Prior customer service experience
- English is required. Ability to speak Spanish is highly desired.
- Strong leadership skills
- Be available and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and some mornings as needed.
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to safely lift 40 lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift
- Must have full range of motion of arms and full usage of hands
- Must be able to stay focused and concentrate in a loud environment
- Have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and pass a criminal background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.28 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
