JOB: AWS /Hadoop Administrator.Location:Hardfort CT
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description: The resource will work on installation, configuration, maintenance, tuning, support of AWS Hadoop distribution - EMR (Elastic Map Reduce) to help migrate applications from on-prem Hortworks Platform.Duration: Fulltime
- 8-10 years of IT experience with 5+ years on Big Data based DataWarehousing platforms
- Strong Experience in Hadoop - HDFS, MapReduce, Yarn, Pig, ZooKeeper
- Strong Experience in Hadoop SQL tools - Hive and Presto
- Strong Experience in Hadoop Administration - AWS EMR is preferred
- Strong Scripting Knowledge - Shell, Perl Strong Experience in Linux OS
- Experience on AWS services (mandatory) - Instances, Security Groups, Bootstrap actions, S3 Buckets, VPC/Subnets
- Strong Experience with Hadoop Security and Governance - LDAP Integrations, Kerberos
- Strong Performance tuning experience on Hive, Presto and Mapreduce/Yarn
- Strong Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting of services
