For NY and CA based candidates, the salary range for this role is $155,000 - $195,000. Actual offers are based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's location, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position is eligible for cash incentive providing the potential to earn more.

We are currently hiring for a AWS Cloud Data Architect and Modelingopportunity.In this role, you will develop and implement an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy.
- Setting up entitlement, vending patterns, API, ingestion patterns, lake formation, Redshift / Postgres databases and role access.
- Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system.
- Managing end-to-end Data Architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and implementing the proposed solution.
- Designed Entitlement / Data access at the multi-layer data security level.
- Proficient in APIs and design / maintain data vending patterns for the downstream usage.
- Planning and execution of big data solutions using AWS technologies.
- Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization.
- Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
- Conducting a continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- A minimum of 12 years software development and support experience.
- Proficiency in Data Architecture design and implementation for AWS cloud. AWS certifications strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in both Relational, and Dimensional data modeling. Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modelling.
- Expert level in designing AWS data lake, Redshift and ODS data stores in the cloud.
- Experience designing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) flows and data vending patterns.
- Superior interpersonal skills including the ability to connect with individuals at all levels of the organization in both verbal and written form.
- Expertise with building technology systems and solutions for Big Data, Data platforms, Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).
- Deep understanding of enterprise data management policies and principles.
- Expert in all aspect of Data Architecture principles and guidelines.
- Willingness to continue to learn new technologies and to become an authority in all aspects of the business areas supported.
- Highly motivated self-starter.

- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to provide technical and business guidance to technical and non-technical staff.
