Community Support Network is a growing non-profit organization fighting homelessness in Sonoma County. This program is a live-in treatment program for adults with addiction and behavioral health issues. A safe and supportive 11-bed home where residents live for up to 3-12 months; it is a place for improving emotional, mental and physical health, while learning positive coping skills on the path to recovery and independence.
We currently are looking for Awake overnight staff to assist us in our mission.
Essential Functions:
- Duties include but are not limited to maintaining positive, supportive, and respectful resident relations, providing supportive and educational services in a social rehabilitation setting.
- Supporting residents in completing activities of daily living, organizing, and facilitating group activities, medication management, documentation (e.g., provide progress notes for clients, incident reports and special reports, when necessary, etc.)
- Following and supporting established guidelines, policies, and procedures with residents, provide crisis prevention and intervention in a trauma-informed manner, and chart reviews/filing.
- Working with clients on a one-on-one basis and as a team, while assisting them with meeting treatment goals.
Minimum Education/Requirements:
- 18 years or older; H.S. degree/GED required,
- BA degree or AODS certification is a plus
- Ability to meet all hiring requirements including criminal background check.
We will provide intensive on the job training to meet Sonoma County's Behavioral Health Duel Diagnosis treatment program requirements
Students currently enrolled in the AODS program are encouraged to apply. We offer paid internships.
