Avp Product Manager

Job Purpose and Scope: AVPProduct Manager is a key contributor operating in a cross-functional product development team building software solutions Bank OZK. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution of the team in the development and delivery of new features and enhancements.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Manages prioritization of development work and oversees day-to-day execution of the product development team following agile methodologies.
2. Serves as a communication hub within product development team, driving alignment and clarity between different functions.
3. Develops business requirements with input from product stakeholders and translates them into functional user stories and acceptance criteria.
4. Gathers user feedback and evaluates enhancement requests to continuously improved the products.
5. Manages the product roadmap and backlog for assigned products.
6. Collaborates with DevOps, Quality Assurance, and Release Management teams to ensure smooth and well-documented releases.
7. Provides post-development support by monitoring product performance and user adoption trends, converting issues and pain points into actionable enhancement opportunities.
8. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
9. Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
10. Follows Bank policy, practice, and procedure.
11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Knowledge of agile project methodologies, stakeholder management, feature writing and requirements definition.  
2. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, especially as it pertains to leading a cross-functional project team.
3. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, environment, and deliver quality work on time.
4. Ability to demonstrate outstanding collaboration and partnership skills, in the spirit of driving to common goals.
5. Ability to demonstrate professionalism, initiative, self-motivation, and a team-player approach.
6. Ability and willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and methodologies.
7. Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
