This role will report to the VP, Global HR Operations. The primary focus of this position is to provide support in the areas of US Payroll and Benefits. This position will also have a key role in the US Payroll platform upgrade from ADP Enterprise to ADP GlobalView. This is a unique opportunity to utilize project management skills and HRIS expertise while diving into the day-to-day operations of Payroll/Benefits.
Key Job Responsibilities
Support upgrades to internal and external HR, Benefits, and Payroll applications
Work with internal / external resources to create new or update existing interfaces as requested
Engage with US Benefits on initiatives related to Health & Welfare and Retirement projects as necessary
Support inbound/outbound interfaces between Oracle HCM, ADP and third-party vendors
Serve as the technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Provide system support for Payroll / Benefits including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.
Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train HR users as necessary
Perform other duties and special projects as requested
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience in ADP payroll required, preferably Enterprise and/or GlobalView
Must have experience leading or supporting a payroll implementation/conversion including business requirements, system configuration, gap fit analysis, functional/technical specifications, testing, data migration and understanding integrations between Oracle HCM, ADP, and 3rd party vendors
Must be able to anticipate the downstream and upstream impacts of process integrations
Benefits administration experience is preferred
Experience in PeopleSoft HRMS or Oracle HCM preferred
7+ years of related work experience is required
Effective planning and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong understanding of database design, structure, functions, and processes.
Ability to work with large amounts of data
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including benefits procedures, eligibility, and enrollment rules to ensure correct implementation
Ability to present findings or translate the data into an understandable document
Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
