Position Summary
This role is responsible for performing Avionics fabricating, installation, troubleshooting and repair work scopes within the Avionics department on the Swift Eye integration upgrade.

Essential Functions Statement:
- Maintain quality workmanship in accordance with FAA standards.
- Test avionics systems.
- Complete assigned avionics installations, troubleshooting, and repair work scopes.
- Coordinate with avionics supervisory personnel issues involving parts and drawings for installation/repair work scopes.
- Coordinate with Senior Technicians and Inspection to complete proper paperwork required for installations.
- Work with Inspection Department to ensure FAA compliance.
- Demonstrate competency in use of proper tooling and techniques necessary for termination of wiring applicable to aircraft modifications.
- Provide proper accountability of personal tools IAW local repair station policies.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in an environment that varies from office to shop-floor locations, ramp & outdoors with potential adverse weather conditions and high noise levels.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with department and business needs. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from department manager.
Facility Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma South - 7301 NW 50th

Required Education and Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2+ years of aircraft avionics experience
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge
Beechcraft King Air Experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Computer Skills: Maintenance Tech Pub, Corridor
Certificates and Licenses
FAA Repairman’s Certificate and Radio/Instrument Certificate Preferred
Manufacturer Training Certificate(s) FAA Certificates Preferred
A&P Certificate Preferred
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
