Job Description
Responsibilities of this position include:
Troubleshoots and repairs all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft
Communicates with department manager or crew chief on any problems or repairs
Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector
Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes as required by company policies, FAA approved repair station and quality control manuals, all FAA regulations, OEM aircraft manufacturer manuals, etc.
Learns, understands and follows the company work order and parts requisition process as written.
Maintains a clean, neat, and efficient work area
Repairs and calibrates shop equipment as assigned
Requirements
1. Avionics and Airframe Mastery:
- Proven hands-on experience in aircraft systems.
- In-depth knowledge of various aircraft models.
2. Regulatory Compliance Expertise:
- Comprehensive understanding of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145.
- Ensured compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Aircraft Systems Proficiency:
- Autopilots, FMS, Navigation, Communication, EFIS.
- Installation, troubleshooting, and repair expertise.
4. Safety-Focused Documentation:
- Meticulous record-keeping in line with regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to safety in all maintenance activities.
5. Communication and Team Collaboration:
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
- Proven ability to work seamlessly in a team.

Monday - Friday Day Shift 7-4 / 2nd Shift / 3rd Shift / Weekend Shift (37 hours)
